A farmer in Uttar Pradesh died of a heart attack after watching his wheat crop on his six bigha land destroyed by stray cattle in Fatehabad of Agra district. Fifty-one-year-old Narayan Singh of Badhora village had reportedly borrowed Rs 90,000 and was depending on his crop to repay the debt. He is survived by three young children, including two unmarried daughters. According to his family members, he guards his crop against stray cattle and when he came home for dinner and when he returned, he had seen the entire crop which was trampled upon by 50 stray cattle.
