In New Delhi., air pollution has been deteriorating day by day. Today the Air Quality Index indicated 450 in New Delhi and 542 in Noida. The overall AQI level in Delhi was recorded at 456 on Sunday morning, while the AQI level in Noida and Gurugram was as high as 542 and 448. In Delhi, AQI is at 431 in Anand Vihar, 465 in Jahangirpuri, 426 in Punjabi Bagh and 424 in Rohini, all in ‘severe category’, as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Notably, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”
