The election time is going on in India. After Recent Bihar Assembly polls and different states by-polls, other prestigious elections are ready to serve the hot topics to the people of Hyderabad and most of the Indians who are interested in South Politics.
What is so interesting?
Previously, the elections clearly had shown the dominance of TRS, but now, BJP and MIM did well in Bihar elections. Congress did not perform well. Congress has become so aggressive and TRS also had to take revenge against defeat in Dubbaka! MIM is on cloud nine due to its results in Bihar Assembly poll.
The divided vote:
TRS and MIM had an alliance till a month ago or so, and now they compete with each other. This may divide the votes between the MIM votes and TRS votes. TRS has been influencing the
The loss to Congress:
The very bad term has been witnessed by Congress leaders this year. The defeats in Bihar Assembly elections and by-polls made the Congress rethink about their leadership. On the other hand, the GHMC announced the elections. A certain category of people who have been voting for Congress is still there and very minor margin of Muslim votes may go to Congress. Congress’s internal conflicts are the biggest reason for its downfall in Telangana and the same may be reflected in Hyderabad.
BJP and MIM:
BJP has done well in the recent elections. It’s victory over Dubbaka and Bihar Assembly elections boosted the party workers and leaders. The religious votes especially after Bhaimsa BJP may attract and MIM has the strong Muslim vote bank.
Another important influence is TDP. TDP has a big following in Greater Hyderabad due to the contribution of Sri Chandrababu Naidu. His contribution to the IT and BPO industry is not to be ignored. Many IT and BPO employees still come in line to vote for TDP. Post-Telangana movement also, TDP has an influence on Hyderabad, though downfall in other parts of Telangana is seen still, Hyderabad can be influenced by TDP vote bank.
However, this time, the elections are going to be interesting and the voters’ views are different. The settlers’ prospect is also very much important. Dissatisfaction towards TRS is going to play a crucial role in Telangana.
