Madhya Pradesh CM Shivaraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the state cabinet will constitute the cow cabinet to protect and promote the Cow cattle. The indigenous cows are considered to be pious by Hindus and as per the constitution of India indigenous cows (Bos Indicus), slaughtering is prohibited. Now MP CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan decided to have a cabinet for promotion of Cow cattle in the state. “Animal Husbandry, Forest, Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, Home and Farmers Welfare Department will be included in the ‘cow cabinet’. The first meeting of the ‘cow cabinet’ will be held on November 22 at 12 noon on the day of Gopashtami at Gau Sanctuary Salaria Agar Malwa,” said the CM of MP. The MP government has not announced regarding the powers and responsibilities of the Cow cabinet.
