BJP state president in West Bengal said that the non-Bengalis contributed most to the development of West Bengalis.” From the British era, people from outside were coming to Bengal to earn a livelihood. For more than 100-200 years, people from outside are coming to Bengal to earn money and do business,” Ghosh said at a rally.  He added that citizens from outside worked in the cotton mills. He took a jibe at Mamatha Benarjee Ghosh said that the people from Bihar, who had been working as Rickshaw Pullers became outsiders and Shahrukh Khan became Bengali. The Midnapore MP said, “Who rode the tangas? Who pulled the rickshaws? Today they are outsiders here and Shah Rukh Khan is one of our own! All the workers from Bihar are outsiders but Prashant Kishor is one of our own!”.
