After the Dokalm crisis between the Indian army and People liberation army of China, the PLA started establishing the camps along the LAC and in the depth areas to enhance their preparedness during a conflict with India. A top government official told “The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has developed over 20 of these military camps in their depth areas close to the LAC and are using these bases for helping in operations on the LAC,”
