A local court in Delhi has rejected the plea of the crime branch of Delhi to continue his police custody and sent Olympic Gold medalist to Judicial Custody. Delhi Police’s Crime Branch, which had the custody of the infamous wrestler for 10 days, appealed for a three-day extension, saying they again wanted to take Sushil to Haridwar where he had first fled after the murder. However, the Rohini district court found no new ground to keep the 38-year-old wrestler in police custody.
