1. India bags an award in UN:  Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)   has given an award to India for its “Invest India” promotion by the Indian government, under the banner of   United Nations Investment Promotion Award 2020. The award ceremony took place on Monday at the UNCTAD headquarters in Geneva.

The BJP has won 1,011 Panchayat Samiti seats while the Congress bagged 1,000 seats out of 4,371 seats.

12. PM Modi speaks to Qatar’s Sheik Tamim: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Qatar’s Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday over the phone as the two leaders discussed cooperation between both countries in the fields of investment flows and energy security.

13. India loses the match against Australia: In the last and third T20 match, India lost the match to Australia with the difference of 12 runs. Australia batted first and scored 186/5 and in response to that, India scored 174/7.  However, India won the T20 series with 2-1 win. Hardik Pandya was awarded player of the series.
